WIOGEN hopes to ensure the longevity of their Western Indian Ocean Governance Exchange network and is exploring options for capacity development in a more formal manner for scientists, decision-makers and policy developers with regards to improved management and governance of ocean and coastal resources. We would like to engage the WIOGEN community to identify their needs and interests in a graduate ocean governance program and incorporate these desires in the proposal development.
